Money, unfortunately, is a necessary evil when running for office.
Washington State Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) rules have
several contribution benchmarks:
$25 or less: Name.
$26 to $100: Name, address.
$101 or more: Name, address, employer, employer address.
About $100,000 is required for a successful campaign. My goal is
for 1000 people to contribute $100 each. All contributions of any
size are welcome. If you are so inclined, the maximum that any
one individual may contribute is $1400.
